Success will not lower its standard to us.
We must raise our standard to success.
- Rev Randall R. McBride, Jr.
Success in academics requires one to inculcate qualities of
perseverance and hard work. There are no short cuts out there.
Success is a relative term as what success may mean for one
student, may not be for the other. However, if all students
could imbibe the learning strategies equally well and execute
them, there would be no competition. Students do face difficulties
in keeping pace with their class, in excelling in a particular
subject and scoring high grades. This affects their self esteem,
confidence level and their motivation to succeed. With no support
to lead them to achieve their academic goals, most students
will face a waning of interest towards achieving academic excellence.
